In our years of experience making products with purpose, we've found that European standards for health and safety far exceed those in the U.S. REACH (Registration, Evaluation, and Authorisation of Chemicals) guidelines in the EU tightly regulate the sourcing, use, and disclosure of chemicals to protect consumers and the environment from harm.

We scoured the globe for a diaper production partner at the forefront of innovation, safety, and transparency that would deliver on our mission. And we found them—in Europe! HealthyBaby diapers are made at a carbon-neutral facility in the Czech Republic that runs on 100% green renewable energy.

HealthyBaby aspires to make the world’s first 100% plastic-free disposable diaper, but we’re not there yet. Until then, our diapers are Plastic Neutral Certified, meaning that we’re committed to eliminating and reducing plastic wherever possible, offsetting the plastic footprint from our products and operations.

Shazi, founder and CEO of HealthyBaby, is a mother, activist, and entrepreneur who’s made it her life’s work to give every baby a healthy start with the cleanest products possible. Her first business started in her tiny NYC kitchen and grew into Happy Family Organics, one of the largest organic baby food companies in the U.S. HealthyBaby, founded in 2020, is the evolution of Shazi's mission to protect and enrich the full potential of every child with essentials that are safe for baby's developing brain and body.

Joe is Chief Dad at HealthyBaby and has taken every step of the journey alongside Shazi. As the parent of both a child with special needs and a neurotypical child, he brings a unique perspective in a world of increasingly diverse families. His mission is to share all that he's learned with other families with practical, empathetic advice and safe, clean essentials that parents can trust.

Shazi and Joe started their parenting journey, while growing Happy Family Organics into one of the largest organic baby food companies in the U.S. When their son Zane was diagnosed with autism at the age of two, they quickly learned how many other factors can impact developmental health. They sold Happy Family Organics and embarked on their most important project yet: getting Zane the help he needed to thrive.

After years of research and working with leading obstetricians, developmental pediatricians, neurologists, and environmental biologists, Shazi and Joe welcomed their daughter Asha to the family after a long IVF journey and complicated pregnancy. She was the first beneficiary of all the research, protection, and enrichment that later became HealthyBaby.

Our experiences parenting our son and daughter were an aha moment. By combining forces with the experts who helped care for our son, and guided our pre-conception and pregnancy journey with our daughter, we’ve built a village of love and knowledge that we want to share with every parent. We believe that HealthyBaby can change the world, one family at a time, by improving developmental health outcomes.
