Pro tip: When cleaning a new surface, we recommend spot-testing an inconspicuous area first.
Baby's permeable skin is literally soaking it all in, so everything they touch should be safe.
HealthyBaby started the clean babycare movement in 2020 by launching the first EWG VERIFIED® diaper. Since then, we’ve expanded to EWG VERIFIED® wipes, skincare, and cleaning supplies—all rigorously tested and declared safe for baby’s developing brain and body.
We're transparent about what's in our products, and what's not. Our essentials are made without parabens, phthalates, and more than 3,900 other chemicals and materials linked to potential health harm. Every product is safe for sensitive skin, cruelty-free, and thoughtfully packaged with sustainable materials.
"Many cleaning products contain chemicals linked to potential health harm, including parabens, phthalates, and VOCs. These chemicals can enter the body through oral, dermal, or inhalation exposure.
Think about how baby explores the world... Anything that sparks their curiosity ends up in their hands and mouth! So you want to consider the safety of everything that baby touches."

Is HealthyBaby cleaning concentrate antibacterial?
Cleaning products must contain an EPA-registered pesticide to make claims about disinfecting, sanitizing, or being antibacterial, so Our Cleaning Concentrate is not antibacterial. We formulate our cleaning products with gentle, safe, and non-toxic ingredients.
What can I clean with HealthyBaby cleaning concentrate?
Our Cleaning Concentrate can be used to clean just about anything—from surfaces to dishes to hands. When cleaning a new surface, we recommend spot-testing on an inconspicuous area first. For a stronger surface spray for kitchen or bathroom clean-up, you can increase the cleaning power by adding more concentrate. To start, we recommend adding 15-30 ml more of concentrate to the surface spray and seeing how that works. For deeper cleaning, let a few minutes pass between when you spray the surface and when you wipe it clean.
Is HealthyBaby cleaning concentrate fragrance-free?
We don't add any fragrances to HealthyBaby products. However, Our Cleaning Concentrate contains natural extracts of honeysuckle, rosemary, and bergamot, which may have a faint scent.
Why are the pumps, foamers, and spray nozzles on the reusable bottles plastic?
We're committed to limiting the use of plastic as much as possible, but have not found a better alternative for the pumps, foamers, and spray nozzles on the reusable bottles. We encourage you to reuse the bottles as long as possible to reduce waste. Need a new pump? Please contact us at support@healthybaby.com.
Does HealthyBaby cleaning concentrate have preservatives?
Our Cleaning Concentrate contains water, so a preservative is necessary to protect against harmful bacteria and microorganisms. After years of development and testing, we chose sodium benzoate, because it's the safest, plant-based preservative. Our Cleaning Concentrate is both EWG VERIFIED and MadeSafe Certified, meaning that teams of scientists have rigorously reviewed all ingredients for safety. Several other factors in our formula, including the sodium bicarbonate (food-grade baking soda), natural rosemary oil, and pH level also help to ensure a balanced and preserved product.
What kind of ink is used on the HealthyBaby Swedish dish cloths?
Great question! The designs on our Swedish Dish Cloths are printed with 100% water-based ink that complies with OEKO-TEX safety and sustainability standards.
